We are women working across different fields and geographies, bound by a shared longing: to weave, to build, to walk together toward what is becoming. Founders, investors, mothers, stewards, artists.
The Elleders is not a programme or a platform. It is a way of walking together — a living web of nodes, growing across the world.
A secure base is a person, a place, a community, an idea: something that holds you steady. It offers protection without confining you, comfort without softening your edges.
Held in this way, the Elleders form an interconnected web of life. A mycelium “my cell in the universe” of love.
The Elleders is held by a circle of women who shape this work together: sparring, sensing, connecting and weaving. Not a board, not a council in any formal sense, but a holding circle.
Some hold the Elleders from the heart of the work. Others anchor it in their own land, building circles where they live.

Founder of The Elleders.
The Elleders is taking shape, slowly and with care.
In the Netherlands, the work has been quietly growing since January 2023. What began as a small circle has become a community of more than two hundred women, gathered around fires and tables, in retreats and walks, in stillness and in song. Within this wider community, the first nodes of twenty-four are forming.
Beyond the Netherlands, anchors are walking in Mexico, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. The Book of Elleders is being woven. A holding circle is shaping the work. A structure to hold this work is taking form.
We are weaving as we walk.
Every growing thing needs fertile ground.
A circle of twelve women is forming who carry the Elleders financially and in wisdom — not as donors, but as the ground from which this work can grow.
This circle is in formation. It asks for a meaningful, multi-year commitment, shaped in conversation.
